So sorry about your loss. Lou or Chocolate as we called her - was a friend of my mother - Nel Baran Grevemberg. I remember that even when we ddn't see her for a while - when we did - it was like a only a day had gone by. I know she will be missed.

Our family has lost a dear friend. Lou and the Babin family were an icon from the early days of the Savannah Sugar Refinery moving from Louisiana. A dear friend of my mother (Vivian Dupuy Kenney and aunt,Marjorie Dupuy Teston)since childhood. Lou was often known to play pranks on her peers growing up together at the Refinery. Lou knew how to make you laugh, she loved children and each of us were blessed to enjoy her and listen to her many stories. She touched so many lives and I know she will be welcomed into the gates of heaven.

Very sad to learn of Lou's passing. She was a dear friend to my late Mother (Vivian Dupuy Kenney). If you were ever down in the dumps, you could call Lou-Lou and she would soon have you laughing until tears rolled down your cheeks. My condolences to her family and friends. I'm sure my Mother was waiting to greet her at heaven's gates! Rest in peace Lou-Lou!!
